Indian Navy has two posts for Sailors, one is Sailor AA (Artificer Apprentice) and Sailor SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit). The Indian Navy admit card for 2020 February Batch recruitment has been released. The Indian Navy Admit card 2020 is being issued for the examination only to the candidates who paid the examination fee.

The Indian Navy admit card for the Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) has been released by the Indian Navy. The candidates can visit the official website of Indian Navy to log in with their pre-registered ID and password for downloading and taking a print out of the Indian Navy admit card 2020 for the Indian Navy SSR and AA exam which will be conducted in February 2020. The admit card will be available for download from January 24, 2020-February 4, 2020.

The admit card is the most important document for appearing in the Indian Navy Sailor SSR and AA Recruitment. The Indian Navy admit card will be made available on the Indian Navy official website. The Indian Navy has the right to postpone or delay the date of issuing the Indian Navy admit card under unavoidable circumstances. In that scenario, the candidate must contact the official body of Indian Navy Recruitment or wait for any notification or further information in this regard.

Indian Navy SSR & AA Exam Pattern 2020

The candidate will have to sit for a common exam for AA and SSR recruitment in February 2020. After the common exam has been completed, candidates will be shortlisted for AA or SSR according to their preference given by them at the time of Sailor SSR and AA application registration process. Following are some more details regarding the Indian Navy Sailor SSR and AA examination:

  • The examination format will be CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • Candidates have to appear to the centre/venue specified for them for taking the CBT.
  • The question paper will be bi-lingual and candidates can attempt in Hindi and English according to their preference.
  • The question papers will have 4 sections, which are, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Science.
  • There will be 4 sub-sections of the English Paper and 5 sub-sections each for Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge papers.
  • The syllabus of the examination will be standardised at the 10+2 level.
  • The candidate has to pass in all the sections along with passing in aggregate.
  • The questions will be multiple-choice-type or MCQ with 4 options to select from under each question.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Negative marking will be there in the examination. 1/4th (0.25) of the mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
