Indian Students More Willing to Take Up Medical Courses in Philippines

Studying in Philippines has always been a craze for Indian students interested in pursuing medicine. And with NEET being implemented as a mandatory exam to pursue medical studies in India, it is no wonder that students from India are looking out for alternative, quality and affordable options to study medicine. Education in Philippines has emerged as one of the most promising options for MBBS students in India.

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) course offered by various medical colleges/ universities in the Philippines is recognised and approved as an equivalent course to the MBBS by the MCI (Medical Council of India). The Philippines have outstanding English speaking faculty and society and it offers a better interface with the western world. These are regarded as some of the advantages of pursuing medicine in the Philippines.
