Jaipur Engineering College (JEC) to Host ‘Rostrum 2018’ on February 22 & 23

Jaipur Engineering College (JEC) will organise ‘Rostrum 2018’ in collaboration with ISLE (The Indian Society of Lighting Engineers) on February 22 and February 23, 2018. Over 3,000 students from different institutes are expected to take part in technical and fun events conducted by JEC as a part of Rostrum 2018.

JEC Rostrum 2018 Technical and Fun Events: -

• The major event that will be a part of JEC Rostrum 2018 is Technical Paper Presentation. Participants can present their papers on any of the given three topics including Hybrid Vehicles, Renewable Energy and Smart City.
• Another interesting competition is ‘Robot Wars’. In this competition, robots attack each other on a platform. The participant robot has to force another robot outside the platform.
• ‘Robot Race’ is one among the fascinating competitions in which robots race in a fixed route with hurdles. The fastest robot will win the race.
• LAN Gaming is one of the interesting fun events. Two teams comprising of five members each will compete for each other.
• Other fun events include paper dance, tug of war and just a minute.

Rostrum 2018 will enable the students to exhibit their technical skills in a fun-filled environment. The competitions will develop healthy competition among the participants. The fest will help the students to interact with the students of other colleges, exchange ideas and take part in competitions.

Eminent personalities from industry will be a part of the event. It is a good opportunity for the students of surrounding colleges to showcase their hidden talents and skills.
