Javadekar to Help IIT-Council Regarding New Induction Program

Today i.e. 23rd August’ 16 a meeting will be hosted to make plans on how to make the three-week long induction program at IITs, effective. The meeting will be chaired by the Union Minister, Prakash Javadekar and layout of the induction program will be discussed. The Indian Institute of Technology popularly known as IIT is every student’s dream who wishes to study engineering and to get admission in an IIT, students study their hardest. Once a student gets admission he or she doesn’t even get the time to celebrate as the classes start. The induction program is being introduced to help students adjust to the new environment better. The normal schedule of classes will be effective only after the end of the induction program.

The induction program will include the following activities which will help the student know their classmates and faculty better.

  • Creative arts
  • Language competitions
  • Debate
  • Group Discussions and much more

This induction program will provide an opportunity to students coming from different backgrounds and different states relax and celebrate their victory of getting admission in an IIT.
