Candidates appearing for the session 2 exam, should carry a list of required documents to the exam centre on the exam day. Otherwise, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. After downloading the JEE Main admit card for Session 2, the candidates will also find the details related to the exam day instructions there.
List of Documents Required for JEE Main April 2024
Candidates are bound to follow certain guidelines inside the exam centre on the examination day of JEE Main April 2024. For the same, the candidates should carry a list of required documents for the exam. Also, they are restricted to carry some other objects. Check the details here in the given section:
- JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card: Candidates should carry a printed copy of the JEE Main April 2024 admit card. Note, that the printed admit card will be considered as the entry ticket for entering the examination hall
- Authorized Photo IDs: Along with the admit card, the candidates should carry any government approved Photo ID (such as a PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Aadhaar Enrollment Number). Candidates should make sure that the IDs are original and non-expired
- Passport Sized Photo: Candidates should also carry a passport-sized photo with them on the exam day. The passport photo should be equivalent to the uploaded photo on the JEE Main online application form
- Candidates should also carry PwD and Category certificate (if applicable). Otherwise, the PwD candidates will not be eligible to claim the relaxation. Also, if the candidates fail to show the valid category certificate, then they will be treated as the general category candidates
- The candidates should carry a ballpoint pen, either blue or black ink. Note, that pencils or any other coloured pens are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Lastly, the candidates can carry a transparent water bottle, there should not be any labels or markings
Items Prohibited in JEE Main April 2024 Exam Centre
Apart from the above-highlighted documents/ items, the candidates will not be allowed to carry certain things inside the exam hall. Check the details here:
- Pencil/ Geometry boxx, Purse, Handbags, and Any kind of Stationary/ Textual material are not allowed inside the exam hall
- Do not carry any eatables and water (packed or loose)
- Candidates should not carry mobile phones/earphones/pagers/ calculators/microphones/ Smartwatch/ Slide rules/cameras/ log tables or any gadgets
