Candidates can check the JEE Main 2025 Exam Analysis for Day 1 Shift 1 through the students' reactions who have appeared for the exam below.
- According to students and experts, Physics paper was easy with more concept-based questions. More questions were asked from class 12th chapters. Modern Physics had 2 questions from radius and debroglie equation, Current Electricity had 2 questions, Ray Optics chapter also encompassed 2 questions.
- Rest Physics topics from which at least 1 question was asked are Resistance, Gravitation, Flux, Capacitors, wave optics, semiconductor, and potential meter. No questions from electrostatics. At least 20-23 questions could have been easily attempted.
- As per students and coaching experts, Chemistry paper was easy to moderate. Questions came from both 11th and class 12th chapters. Most questions were asked from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Students said that most questions from Chemistry were as per the NCERT books. Also, there were 4 questions which required candidates to find the incorrect option, therefore, conceptual clarity is a must have.
- There were 2 questions from periodic properties/ table, physical chemistry had 2 questions, 2 questions came from modern chemistry too. Then there are chapters/ topics like chemical kinetics, f and p block, biomolecules, salt analysis from which at least 1 question was asked in the exam. In Chemistry, at least 20-23 questions were easily doable.
- According to students and expert reviews, Maths paper was moderate to tough and lengthy. Topics like 3D Vector, Coordinate Geometry, and AP and GP series were very important as most questions came from these chapters. From Statistics topic, questions were of moderate level.
- As per few students, class 11th syllabus was more dominant in the mathematics question paper. From 3D Vector, 2-3 questions were asked. And Coordinate Geometry also contained around 2-3 questions from parabola, hyperbola mixed with circle and straight line. Conic section in mathematics had 3 to 4 questions. Overall, 10 to 13 questions were easily doable from this mathematics section.
- In Mathematics, there was at least 1 question from limits along with parameter-based questions.
- According to students for 99 percentile, the marks will cross 200+
- Overall good attempt for JEE Main 2025 January 22, Shift 1 is 52-55 questions.
