JEE Main Exam Analysis Shift 2 22 January 2025: Students' Reviews
Candidates can check the JEE Main 2025 Exam Analysis for Day 1 Shift 2 through the students' reactions who have appeared for the exam below.
- Chemistry paper was very easy as per students and experts. Inorganic, Organic and Physical chemistry questions were equally asked but paper was bit more theory-based. No question from MOT topic. There was at least 1 direct question from molarity, biomolecules, electrochemistry, and Stephen's Reaction.
- No question in chemistry was asked from salt analysis. Chemical Bonding 1 question was asked on degenerative energy, Coordination Compound 2 questions were asked to solve order. There was at least 1 direct question from Ionic equilibrium, thermodynamics, and GOC (calculation of stability of carbo cation). Students recommended to solve last years' PYQs to ace the chemistry section.
- Maths paper was also easy to moderate with direct questions from 3D Vector as per students and experts. Paper was lengthy too. There were 1-2 questions from 3D vector, at least 7-8 questions from Calculus, Conic Section 3 questions (parabola focal chord, ellipse and hyperbola eccentricity based questions).
- Maths section also had easy question on integration. At least 1 question was asked from complex number, Area under the curve, 1 direct question from binomial theorem, 1 question from matrices, 1 tough question from AP series, 1 medium to tough question from Limits, 1 moderate question from quadratic and trignometry, 1 question from Error. No questions came from statistics.
- Physics paper was also easy to moderate with 2 questions from Ray Optics. There were direct formula based questions on F.DS and FxR. At least 1 question from Electrostatics, Semiconductor - Logic Gate, Work Function from Photoelectric effect. Then a projectile question came which asked kinetic energy calculation of diff. at max and initial height. 1 question also came from topics like Resistance and Capacitor, Current Electricity (direct formula-based question), Resonance, 1 tricky question from Dimension, 1 direct questions formula based to find out torque.
- In Physics, no question came from wave optics and EM waves in the JEE Main 22 January 2025 Shift 2. At least 1 question came from fluid related to viscosity, 1 question from gravitation. Modern Physics section covered 2 questions.
- As per students, to gain 99 percentile, securing 200+ marks is needed.
- Overall, expected number of good attempt is 55-57 questions.
