JEE Main Exam Analysis 23 January 2025 Shift 1: Students' Reviews
Candidates can review the JEE Main 2025 Exam Analysis for Day 1 Shift 1 by looking at the feedback from students who participated in the exam below.
- As per students, Maths paper was moderate to mostly tough while being lengthy and calculative. At least 1 question was asked from relation and function, differentiation, integration, differential equation, circle. 3D Vector topic had 2 questions and surprisingly calculus only had 1 question. Conic Section (parabola question) had 3 to 4 questions. There was 1 question from foot of perpendicular.
- According to experts and students, maths paper was overall tough, calculative and lengthy. Most students took 1 hour to 1.3 hours to solve maths paper.
- Physics paper was easy to moderate with 1 question each from electrostatics, debroglie equation (question asked to tell whether X Ray or Gamma Ray), Decay (Radioactivity), Thermodynamics (Adiabatic process, gamma value given and delta T was asked), Ray Optics - 3 questions came, 1 question from refractive index (question from spherical surface), 1 ques from silvering of lens, 1 question from semiconductor (diode based statement question), direct questions on entropy and enthalpy formula, 2 statement-based question from surface tension.
- In Physics, questions were more concept based. At least 1 question each also came from rotation, current electricity (moving galvanometer question). No questions were asked from logic gates.
- Chemistry paper was easy to moderate with questions from GOC-Aromaticity, 1 question from solution mixed with Coordination Compounds concept. At least 1 question each came from p-block (question on nitrogen), d and f block (colour question), biomolecule (reducing and non-reducing sugar), electrochemistry (find T0 value question), 1 question asked electronic configuration of a complex, 1 ques from dipole concept, 2 easy and direct questions on named reactions.
- In Chemistry paper for JEE Main 23 January 2025 Shift 1, less questions came from Organic Chemistry. At least 1 question came from periodic table (direct question very easy), 1 question on matching the following on hypovalent and hypervalent concept, 1 very easy question from octet rule, No questions from salt analysis. Biomolecule very important topic, and as per experts, students must prepare basic structure from biomolecules to score full marks in this topic's questions.
- As per students, 99 percentile would be around 180-200 marks
