JEE Main January 2023 response sheet is expected to be released by February 5, 2023. Along with the response sheet, the answer key will also be published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The response sheet will comprise all the answers given by the students during the exam. With the help of the response sheet and answer key, candidates can check how many questions they have answered correctly and calculate their estimated marks accordingly.
Once the provisional answer key is released, candidates will be able to check it online and download it using their login credentials. In case they find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they will be able to challenge the answer key by submitting their objection and paying a certain amount. Candidates must note that to prove their objection, they need to submit supporting documents as well. The objection to an incorrect answer in the answer key can be raised by logging into the official website and paying Rs 200 as a fee.

How to Calculate Score Using JEE Main 2023 Answer Key?
In order to calculate the score using the answer key, candidates must understand the exam pattern and marking scheme of the paper. They must consider these points while calculating their marks-- Every correct answer will fetch them +4 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
- For an unattempted question, no marks will be provided or subtracted.
- Total marks = (4 * number of correct answers) - (1 * number of incorrect answers)
