JoSAA 1st Seat Allotment 2022 is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2022, by 10:00 am. The registration and choice filing window for the same will close today, September 21, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Candidates who have registered themselves must fill and lock their choices before the window closes. If not, the auto-locking system will automatically lock the choices, and candidates will be bound to follow the seat allotment accordingly.
Candidates must note, that as the JoSAA 1st Seat Allotment 2022 on September 23, it is most likely that candidates are allotted their first preference. And candidates who are allotted their first choice must accept the seat allotment and complete the admission process. If candidates reject the seat allotment, the candidature will be canceled, and the candidate will be removed from the counselling process.

JoSAA 1st Seat Allotment 2022: Important Instructions
Candidates must note these important instructions for the JoSAA 1st Seat Allotment 2022 to be released on September 23rd, 2022, ahead of time, to avoid any hassle.
- As soon as the JoSAA 1st Seat Allotment 2022 is released, candidates may log in to the portal to accept the seat allotment. The seat acceptance will be conducted online.
- To complete the Seat Acceptance, candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee online. Along with the seat acceptance fee, candidates must upload all the required documents.
- If any candidate fails to accept the seat in the given time, the seat will be considered vacant, and the names will be removed from the counselling process.
- Also, candidates may choose to upgrade if they are not satisfied with the allotted institute, and it is not as per their first preference. They will be considered for the second round of seat allotment.
