JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment Date 2023The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the round 2 seat allotment result on July 6, 2023, at 5 pm. Once released, the JoSAA round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on the official website- josaa.nic.in. To check the JoSAA round 2 seat allotment result, the candidates should enter the login credentials such as the application number and password. The candidates, who will be allotted seats in round 2, will need to report to the allotted colleges on or before July 10, 2023. Post round 2 seat allotment, the candidates should pay the seat acceptance fees to the colleges.

Post that, the rest of the vacant seats from Round 2 will be filled in Round 3, which will be started on July 12.
What After JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment?
The candidates should choose any of the following options after JoSAA round 2 seat allotment-
- Freeze: If the candidates will be satisfied with the seat allotment, then the candidates should choose the freeze option
- Float: If the candidates will not satisfy with the first allotment, however, want to wait for the round 3 allotment, then they should choose this option. For the same, the candidates should pay the seat acceptance after round 2 seat allotment. If the candidates will get better allotment in round 3, then the round 2 seat allotment will be cancelled automatically
- Slide: This option can be avail only for those candidates who are looking for better course allotment within the same institute. This option is only applicable if the candidates have not got an allotment in the previous rounds
