Karnataka DCET 2022 notification is expected to release in the month of June by KEA. Once the notification is released, the date for the application process, exam, and result will also be announced. Applicants will have to register themselves online. The candidates are recommended to keep checking the official website- kea.kar.nic.in to for any latest updates. 

The exam is organized once a year at a state level by the Karnataka Education Authority to provide admission into various diploma courses in Architecture and Engineering. Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their Karnataka DCET 2022 score.

Karnataka DCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for B.E courses and B.Arch courses are as follows- 

B.E Courses (For both morning and evening college)

  • Candidates must have a diploma or equivalent degree from a recognized board of education.
  • They must have scored 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST).
  • Those who're applying for evening college must have a minimum of 2-year work experience as on 1st September 2022 in any public or private company. 

Architecture Courses

  • Applicants must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) and secure a minimum of 40%.
  • A final year diploma examination or any equivalent exam with an aggregate of 50% marks is compulsory. 
  • 45% marks is a must for SC/ ST candidates.
