Karnataka DCET 2023 Seat Allotmentfor Round 1has been released at kea.kar.nic.in on November 25, 2023. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round can complete the choice selection procedure by November 28, 2023. The seat allotment has been done on the basis of the choices filled in by the candidates during the options entry process, which was conducted between November 21 & 23, 2023. The Karnataka DCET counselling 2023 process is being held only for those candidates who have qualified the Karnataka DCET 2023 exam.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Counselling

The Karnataka Examination Authority commenced the Karnataka DCET 2023 counselling process for qualified candidates on November 20, 2023. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to register and fill in their preferred college and course options. Candidates should fill in the maximum choices to increase their chances of admission. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preference and availability of seats. Confirmation of admission has to be done by document verification and payment of tuition fees at the allotted institute.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Choice Filling

Karnataka DCET choice filling 2023 was conducted from November 21 to 23, 2023. All the candidates whose certificates are verified are eligible to participate in the Karnataka DCET 2023 choice filling. Option entry is an important process in the DCET counselling, as the seat allotment result will be processed based on options filled by the candidates and merit. KEA gives a chance to modify or edit the options after the mock allotment. After the mock allotment, the candidates will be allowed to modify options as per the specified dates. It is advisable to modify options only if required.

Karnataka DCET Seat Allotment

Based on the merit list and options locked by the candidates, the authorities released the Karnataka DCET 2023 seat allotment for Round 1 on November 25, 2023. Candidates who will be satisfied with their seats will have to report to the allotted college and pay the fee within the given period while those who are not satisfied with their seats will have to wait for the next round of counselling. 

Karnataka DCET 2023 Result

Karnataka Examination Authority released the Karnataka DCET result 2023 on its official website on October 30, 2023. The subject-wise scores, overall marks, ranks and other information were present in the Karnataka DCET 2023 result. Candidates were able to check their scorecards in online mode by logging in to the result portal. The authority did not send any physical copy of the Karnataka DCET 2023 scorecard individually to any candidates. Based on the performance of the candidates in the DCET 2023 exam, counselling for admission is being conducted. 

Karnataka DCET Answer Key 2023

The answer key of Karnataka DCET 2023 was released online on September 12, 2023, in PDF format on the official website. With the help of the Karnataka DCET Answer Key 2023, the candidates could calculate their expected score in the Karnataka DCET 2023 exam. Initially, the provisional answer key of Karnataka DCET 2023 was released. Candidates could challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer key within the stipulated period. After cross-checking the submitted errors, the examination authority released the final answer keys along with the results.

Karnataka DCET Merit List 2023

Karnataka Examination Authority released the DCET 2023 merit list on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the examination. A separate merit list was released for second-year B.E. candidates and first-year B.Arch courses. Moreover, the authorities released a separate DCET 2023 merit list for day and evening colleges. Candidates who had their names on the merit list of Karnataka DCET 2023 are eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission.

Karnataka DCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Applicants had to ensure that they meet all Karnataka DCET 2023 eligibility criteria to be stated in the official announcement in order to be eligible to apply for the Karnataka DCET 2023 exam. To apply for the DCET exam, candidates were advised to check the Karnataka DCET Eligibility Criteria 2023 given below - 

Karnataka DCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria For B.E Courses 

  • A candidate who has passed any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in all subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to B.E courses, and 40% marks in Q.E in the case of SC, ST, and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria For B. Arch Course

Candidates who intend to apply for the B. Arch Course must take the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) administered by the Council of Architecture and obtain a minimum of 40% marks. NATA is compulsory for architecture admission in India. 

Karnataka DCET 2023 Application Form (Closed)

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) closed the Karnataka DCET application form on August 23, 2023. The Karnataka DCET 2023 registrations were done in online mode at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates had to be careful while filling out the Karnataka DCET 2023 application form so that they do not make any mistakes during the Karnataka DCET registration 2023 process. However, the authorities also opened the Karnataka DCET 2023 application form correction window so that candidates could make corrections to their application forms. 

Karnataka DCET Admit Card 2023
