One of the professors of the English department explained that delinking of Psychology course with B.A/ M.A is not a positive decision. Under Psychology, psychiatry only comes under pure science. On the other hand, psychology and psychoanalysis come under the sphere of Arts. Therefore, the department must review the decision, and the colleges which are offering Psychology, Criminology and English as a combination in Arts will have no other option except to shut down.
