KCET 2023 Exam Date ReleasedKCET 2023 exam date is out at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. All the major highlights and important dates as mentioned in the notification are noted here. As per the official notification, KCET 2023 exam will be held on May 20 and 21, 2023, in offline mode. No major examination pattern changes have been implemented this year.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admissions into undergraduate courses of engineering, medicine, architecture, and pharmacy courses. All admissions through KCET are made at state-level colleges.

KCET 2023 Notification Highlights
Aside from the schedule, the following are the major highlights of KCET 2023 entrance examination:
- The marks distribution as per the subjects is as mentioned below:
- Biology – 60 marks
- Mathematics – 60 marks
- Physics – 60 marks
- Chemistry – 60 marks
- Kannada Language Test – 50 marks
- The entire syllabus of KCET 2023 will be based on Karnataka 1st and 2nd PUC syllabus as declared by the Department of Pre-University Education.
- For admissions into medical/dental/AYUSH courses, it is mandatory to appear for NEET UG 2023 exam.
- Candidates will have to answer a total 180 MCQs and the medium of the language is English or Kannada.
- Similarly, for architecture admissions, candidates must appear for NATA 2023 examination.
- Admissions only through KCET 2023 will be made for the following courses:
- Engineering & Technology
- Yoga & Naturopathy
- B.Pharm
- Pharm-D
- Farm Science Courses: 1. B.V.SC & A.H, 2. B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture/Sericulture/Horticulture/Forestry/Community Science/Agri-Business Management, 3. B.Tech in Bio-Technology/Agricultural Engineering/Food Technology, 4. D.Tech, and 5. B.F.Sc Fisheries
