As per the initial reviews of the students, the paper was 'Moderate'.
Although the JEE Main Maths paper for both sessions has been tough, the KCET Mathematics paper was comparatively easier and doable.
However, some questions were also tough and tricky.
Students also commented that they found the paper to be somewhat lengthy.
As per a review by a student, 15 questions were from deleted portions. K R Puram, who found the paper to be tough, also stated that many questions were from deleted syllabus.
[ In such cases, the authority should award full marks to the candidates but if these questions are anyhow related to the current syllabus, they will not be considered as out-of-syllabus questions. The final decision in this regard lies with KEA.- As per Chirag Kamaravalli, the paper was tough. He attempted 35 questions out of 60. On the other hand, Lingaraj and Daksh Chougule from Belgaum thought the paper was Average. Lingaraj attempted 40 questions while Daksh attempted 38 questions.
