What's new in KCET Counselling 2025?

In response to last year’s engineering seat-blocking scam involving KEA staff, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has completely changed its seat allotment process. From now on, seat allocation for professional courses will be done using one-time passwords (OTP) and facial recognition technology to verify student identities. This move eliminates the use of secret keys, aiming to prevent fraudulent seat blocking and ensure only genuine candidates receive seats. This change improves transparency and security in the admission process.
