NEW DELHI: The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam 2022 is likely to be conducted on June 26, 2022. Earlier, it was decided to hold the KEAM 2022 exam on June 12, 2022. However, due to the clash with some entrance exams such as the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, IIT Madras Humanities and Social Science Entrance examination (HSEE) and NATA, the KEAM 2022 exam got postponed. The official notification on the same will be released on the official website of KEAM.
As per the media report, the first paper of KEAM exam 2022 will be Chemistry and Physics, which will be conducted on June 26, 2022, between 10 am to 12:30 pm. The second paper of KEAM 2022 exam, Mathematics will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on the same date.
What is KEAM exam?
The KEAM 2022 examination is held to complete the admission into the Engineering and Pharmacy courses, offered by several engineering and pharmacy institutions of Kerala. KEAM is a state level examination, which is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala.
KEAM 2022 application fees
The KEAM application fees for the general category candidates is Rs 700, whereas the reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 300. The Scheduled Tribes candidates are exempted from the application fee payment process. The candidates opting from Dubai exam centre have to pay Rs 12000+ application fees.
KEAM 2022 exam pattern
The KEAM exam 2022 is classified into two papers, Paper I (Physics and Chemistry) and II (Mathematics)-\
- KEAM exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based exam)
- Medium of exam: English
- Type of questions: Multiple choice questions
- Total number of questions: 240
- Total marks: 960 (480 per paper)
- One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer
- Total duration of time: 150 minutes (for each paper)
- No negative marking for unanswered questions
