The academic administrators from across Bihar would be participating in a leadership program that is to be conducted at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
An 8 member team of the academic administrators from across the state of Bihar left Patna on April 10th, in order to participate in the 2 days higher education leadership programme being organized by the Rashtriya Uchchtar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) at the ‘Tata Institute of Social Sciences’, Mumbai on 11th and 12th of April, i,e Monday & Tuesday.
The team from Patna University (PU) consisted of the pro-vice-chancellor Mr. Ranjit Kumar Verma, the pro-VC of AKU (Aryabhatta Knowledge University) Mr.S M Karim, The Principal of RNAR College Samastipur, Mr. Arvind Singh, the principal of T.P.S College Patna, Mr Tapan Kumar Sandilya, the RDS College Muzaffarpur principal Mr. Suresh Kumar & the teachers such as Pankaj Bhushan, the OSD of higher education Mr. Shivesh Ranjan & the deputy director Mr. Ejaz Hashmi.
The program aims to enhance the leadership skills of these leaders of the institutes of higher education of the state. Similar programs were held in the month of June 2014. A total of 8 Vice-chancellors from several universities had participated in a weeklong program at Pennsylvania State University, USA.
