LU students demand fresh exam dates
Lucknow University students are demanding the extension in examination dates. LU's students staged a protest outside controller of examination (COE) office on recently.
B.Sc(geology) students have objected to the exam schedule. According to the schedule, both practical and theory exam are beginning on March 2. LU's annual examination is beginning from March 1. An hour-long protest resulted from The protest, which went for about an hour, ended in a meeting of students with the controller of examination who assured them that the date would be extended. The COE has now sought practical exam schedule of first, second and third year BSc geology students.
Meanwhile, students of Mumtaz PG College complained of excess examination fee being charged by the college. They met the COE and alleged that the college is charging Rs 900 extra in the name of exempted students. The university has sought clarification from the college in this regard.
