Lucknow Christian College is going to re-introduce co-education at UG or undergraduate level from the coming academic session. The college offers 1,400 seats in B.Com, B.Sc and BA courses. Now, the girl students in the region will have an opportunity to pursue various courses in this renowned college.
Mr. Mukest Patil, Principal of Lucknow Christian College revealed that the college is going to re-introduce co-education after 28 years. The college ensures a safe and secure environment for girl students. For this purpose, a strong proctorial board will be set up to ensure the safety of girl students and maintain discipline on the campus. So far, the college has co-education facilities only for M.Sc (Chemistry) and MA (English) courses. Every year, around 40% of girl students are being enrolled in these courses.

The college conducts entrance examination for the admission to BA, B.Sc and B.Com courses. Here is the list of vacant seats available in these courses: -
- The college offers 260 seats in B.Sc Mathematics
- A total number of 240 seats are being offered in B.Sc Biotechnology
- There are 440 seats in B.Com programme.
- The college offers 460 seats in BA course.

The management of Lucknow Christian College has received the approval from Lucknow University to re-introduce co-education. S.P. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University was of the opinion that the varsity does not have any objection regarding the same. He further said that re-introducing co-education would increase the enrollments in the college.
Lucknow Christian College was established in the year 1862. Until 1984, the college did not introduce co-education. However, in 1984, the college introduced co-education and discontinued it in 1989.
