Major Recruit Drive by TCS at SASTRA University

During a placements drive at SASTRA University campus in Thanjavur, leading software company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recruited 1,304 students.

Of the 1,670 students who took part in the placement process, more than 1,300 secured appointments making it a record conversion rate of 78% in TCS placements. This is also a record in TCS recruitment history on any college campus in the country,” said an ecstatic official from the University.

“The university was piloting various post-recruitment interventions to enhance employability and the campus-to-corporate transition. This success is because of a mutual effort by TCS and SASTRA together in ensuring high levels of recruitment productivity without compromising quality," said director of placements.

TCS also recruited nine students in the product category for niche services in research and digital innovations labs.
Besides that more than 350 students were placed at companies like PayPal, Amazon, Zoho, Freshdesk, MuSigma, Chargebee, Thorogood, Microsoft, Latentview and Rockwell among others.

The response of the TCS has made the students, teachers and parents very thrilled and hopeful.
