Tirumala Engineering College organized a mega placement drive at college premises on 28-May-2016. Reputed companies Infosys, Emphasis and Aditya Birla took part in the mega placement drive. The placement drive was open for all the engineering, MBA and MCA and UG/PG graduates of 2015-2016 of Guntur district. The company officials were welcomed in a grand manner by the college management. The placement drive was inaugurated by college principal, Dr YV Narayana.
Each company had followed its own procedure of interviews. In general three rounds of interview were conducted by the companies which included a preliminary written test, group discuusion/technical round and personal interview. Students from all over Guntur Dsitrict attended the interviews. Around 210 students attended the interviews. Out of them 65 students secured jobs. The company officials congratulated the students and gave them offer letters. The selected students are offered annual packages ranging from Rs. 1, 80,000 to Rs. 3, 20,000 basing on their performance in interview and qualification.
College principal said, “Buses have been arranged for the students from Narasaraopet and Chilakaluripeta bus station for the sake of students who attended the interviews from distant places. The college received appreciation from the parents for organizing this placement drive”.
