MHT CET 2020 Postponed Again, Exam will Not be Conducted from July 04, Check New Exam Dates of MHT CET

MHT CET 2020, which is scheduled to be conducted from July 04, 2020, is expected to postponed again due to the Coronavirus outbreak. So far, there is no official confirmation from State CET Cell.

MHT CET 2020 has been postponed again. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from July 04, 2020. The number of Corona cases has been increasing rapidly in India, and it is not safe to conduct the exam from the scheduled date. On the other hand, the admit card for MHT CET has also been postponed. The authorities have taken a final decision only after receiving confirmation from the government.

Education Minister of Maharashtra Tweeted that

महाराष्ट CET च्या माध्यमातून उच्च व तंत्र शिक्षण विभागांशी संबंधित विविध व्यावसायिक विषयांच्या प्रवेश परीक्षा घेण्यात येतात. COVID 19 चा वाढता प्रादुर्भाव बघता विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आरोग्याच्या दृष्टीने या सर्व परीक्षा पुढे ढकलण्यात येत आहेत. नवीन तारखा भविष्यात सांगण्यात येतील.

MHT CET 2020 New Exam Dates

MHT CET 2020 new exam dates will be released soon, and the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted for PCM and PCB groups in multiple shifts. The old exam dates were July 04, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13, 14, 28, 29, 30, 31 and August 03, 04 and 05, 2020. The mode of the exam is online, and the exact timetable for PCM and PCB groups will be released separately only after the verification of test or exam centres. The date for hall ticket and results will be released later.

Coronavirus is no doubt impacting the education system in a negative way. As most of the entrance exams, college/ university exams and board exams are being postponed due to Coronavirus scare, MHT CET 2020, which was scheduled to be conducted from 13^th to 17^th April and 20^th to 23^rd April has been postponed due to COVID 19 and national-wide lockdown.

Considering the risk factor involved in travelling in Maharashtra, the postponement of the exam has become unavoidable. As the number of Corona cases in Maharashtra are increasing in a rapid way, it is uncertain that the situation gets controlled by May second week. On the other hand, students are also disturbed by the ongoing situation in the state, and they need time to prepare for the exam.
