Andhra Pradesh SSC Students felt tensed and nervous during English paper-II examination that took place on 28-March-2016 as there were mistakes in question paper. This happened erliar as well, there were mistakes in English paper-I too which was held on 27-March-2016. Around 5 questions were given wrong in both papers.
The following were the mistakes pointed in English paper-I & II
- In Paper-I a line is given from a lesson ‘The Storyed House’ and two questions were given under the line for 2 marks. But the name of the lesson was mentioned as ‘The Dear Departed’. Students got confused here.
- In Paper-II Section - A three questions were given from the lessons which are not a part of Paper-II syllabus. These lessons were prescribed for Paper-I syllabus. These questions carry one mark each. Students got nervous as there was a limited choice in Section-A.
English teachers and parents demanded that 4 marks must be added during re-evaluation as the mistake is from the government side. The government is yet to take a decision regarding this. Even during intermediate examination, there were mistakes in language question papers. Authorities must take proper measures while preparing question papers.
