The Magadh University's (MU) Degree part III honors exam have ended peacefully at the sixty centres on April 16th, 2016.
The exam was held under the supervision of the Magadh University Vice Chancellor Prof Mohd Ishtiyaque, who had appointed the chief observers in all the district & static observers at all exam centre. ‘Holding free and fair examination was my top priority. With this aim, I personally visited several examination centres and persuaded examinees not to use unfair means,’ the Vice Chancellor informed.
About two hundred examinees have been expelled during the exams, which were held in 7 districts of the Bihar state falling under the Magadh University jurisdiction.
According to the Vice Chancellor, about 1.37 lakh examinees have appeared at the exam this year. MU is keen on publishing the results in the right time so that the pupils could apply outside the Bihar for the higher studies. The university has decided to hold the centralized evaluation of the answer-books at 2 main centres - A N College & J D Women's College here - from 2nd May 2016, he informed, adding 2 other centralized evaluation centres would be at Gaya & Nalanda for the evaluation of the general studies papers. The B.D. College principal Mr. P K Verma said that the Vice Chancellor deserved appreciation for his efforts to hold peaceful and fair exam. This would help in improving the Magadh University's image. The Magadh University’s branch office Officer on Duty Mrs. Asha Singh said that the Vice Chancellor has thanked the teachers for their cooperation in the free and peaceful conduct of the exams.
