The university conducts over 300 examinations, out of which University evaluates less than a 100 question papers for each of the streams that they offer. The University’s administration has now appointed various people to check on the evaluation of the papers across the different districts. He further added that they have appointed one person specifically for the stream of commerce since there are a large number of students from the background.
Prof Pednekar also stated that they might allow practising lawyers to check the papers examinations related to the stream of law. He added that if this is a possibility then there will be necessary steps to ensure there is the required security for the lawyers to check the papers. He added that it was also a possibility that the lawyers will be able to check the papers via a laptop.
Prof Suhas Pednekar stated another possibility that they have been exploring with regards to the students being able to receive their answer sheets. However, he stated there will be an issue if the students begin to ask for re-evaluation which might become too much work for the evaluators. He adds that the possibility is still real and they are trying to figure out a way to make it a reality.
