Mumbai University has been ranked between 101 and 150 in the 'Overall' category as per NIRF rankings 2024.
For MU UG 2025 admissions, more than 2.5 lakh students registered, submitting over 8 lakh applications. Admission to top-affiliated colleges for courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, and Management will be based on the merit list.

To check the merit list, candidates should visit the official websites of Mumbai University colleges and click on the link for the first merit list of their desired program. A PDF document containing the list of selected candidates will be displayed. They can then search for their name on the list. Additionally, the cutoff marks and admission procedure will be available on the homepage, providing details on reporting to the college for further formalities.
What After Mumbai University First Merit List 2025?
Candidates whose names are listed in the first merit list must verify documents and pay fees online from May 28 to May 30, 2025, by 3 PM to confirm admission after the Mumbai University merit list 2025 is released. Those who do not complete this will forfeit their admission, and vacancies will be filled following the second merit list, scheduled for release on May 31, 2025, at 7 PM.
