Due to heavy rainfalls in the city, Mumbai University has decided to conduct re-examinations for students who missed the exams. As per the official notification of the Mumbai University, the varsity will release the schedule of fresh exam soon.
Heavy rainfalls have hampered the normal life of India’s financial capital due to which many students were unable to appear in the examinations. The normal life has come to the halt as waterlogging has caused heavy traffic jams on the road and the local train services have also been affected. Further, a road-over bridge also collapsed in Andheri due to which Western Railway local train services in the city were shut down.

Vinod Madle, Deputy Registrar, Public Relations said that the students who were unable to reach exam centre due to Andheri bridge collapse and heavy rainfalls need not worry as a re-examination will be conducted.
The Mumbai University exams which were to be conducted on Tuesday i.e. 3rd July included M.A. semester 3, LLB semester 1, LLB semester 5, M.A. semester 3 choice based, M.Sc semester 3 Research (choice-based) and M.Sc semester 2 and semester 4 practical examination.

Students who were unable to reach the examination centres were in a state of panic as they were unable to take the exam. However, they were assured that they need not worry and the university will release the fresh dates soon.
