A standing committee of the Executive Council of NAAC was held in Bangalore and the University of Jammu was awarded A+ grade (Cycle III 2009-2016), listing the varsity in the elite group of A+ Institutions.
The university celebrated the success at a gathering organized near the Fountain Plaza where the students, faculty members, scholars and other staff members had gathered.
Dr. Kilam said that this would not have been possible without the cooperation of all those who are part of the university and expressed gratitude to every member of the University for their never-ending commitment and support.
This success would not have been possible without the personal and regular monitoring of NAAC Assessment process that was constantly done by Prof. R D Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of the university, added Kilam.
