The month of March is starting month for exams.
Board exams for HSC already started a week back and It's time for summer examination of a university.Students are busy with the exam preparation and collecting notes for studies.But this year RTM Nagpur University is also preparing for upcoming exams as the university is going to deliver exam questions papers to the center in whole new and different way.
This is the first year university is working with this idea.With the help of latest technology Nagpur university is also aiming to change the conventional ways of delivering papers at the center.Before this, all the question papers used to getting delivered at centers manually by university vehicles.
This process has lot's of challenges and time consuming.It requires a lot of manpower too..Also, there were some security issues with this process of Delivering question papers.
Hence, University developed a whole new process called e-delivery.
The summer examination of RTM Nagpur University (RTMNU) has begun and from this examination question papers of the engineering branch will be delivered online to the examination centres. There will be e-delivery of engineering branch question papers.
The university is implementing this IT reforms on the lines of the recommendations suggested by Rajesh Agrawal committee. Under the e-delivery system, the question paper will be made available 2 hours before the examination at the login ID of the respective colleges.
The examination centre head will have to go through scanning of his face before getting the e-delivery of the question paper. To make this e-delivery system safe.
The login ID and password will be given to the examination in charge on the day of the examination at 7.30 am. And the paper will be delivered only after the-the examination in charge's face is scanned.This system will use standard face detection software which will identify the scanned face and then only deliver papers.
