The NEET UG 2025 scorecard will be in PDF format and will include important details such as the candidate's name, application number, roll number, marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, total marks, All India Rank, percentile score, category rank (if applicable), NEET UG qualifying status, and cut-off marks. Candidates can log in to their dashboard to download their results and scorecards.
Before checking their NEET UG 2025 results, candidates should ensure they have their application number and password readily available. It's also crucial to use a properly functioning device with a high-speed internet connection to avoid any technical issues. If candidates encounter difficulties while downloading their results, they can reach out to the authorities for assistance. In case of technical glitches, candidates can wait for a short while and try again, as website congestion is common due to high traffic when results are released.
The NEET UG 2025 result will be declared exclusively online, and candidates won't receive their results via mail or post. The marking scheme, as specified by the authorities, awards 4 marks for every correct answer. There's no penalty for unanswered questions, but candidates will lose 1 mark for each incorrect response or multiple responses to a single question.
In cases where two or more candidates score the same marks, a specific tie-breaking protocol will be considered. The candidate securing higher marks in Biology gets priority. If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry is ranked higher, followed by the one with higher marks in Physics.
If the tie remains unresolved, the ranking will be determined based on:
- The candidate with the least number of incorrect answers
- The candidate with the most correct answers in Biology
- The candidate with the most correct answers in Physics
- The candidate with the least number of wrong answers overall and the most correct answers in Physics
If the tie still persists, an independent expert committee will implement a random process to resolve it.
