GMAC Revises NMAT 2020 Exam Pattern

Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), the conducting body of the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) has announced a revised exam pattern for the NMAT 2020 exam. The NMAT 2020 exam will have a fewer number of questions than previous years and changes have also been made to the sectional-time limits of the exam.

Highlights of the Revised NMAT 2020 Exam Pattern

• The total number of questions in NMAT has been reduced from 120 to 108.

• The total time duration of NMAT remains unchanged at 120 minutes.

• The no. of questions in the Language Skills section has been increased from 32 to 36. The time duration for the section has also been increased to 28 minutes from 22 minutes.

• In the Quantitative Skills section, candidates will not have to answer 36 questions instead of 48. The total time allotted to this section will not be 52 minutes.

• The Logical Reasoning section has also seen a decrease in the number of questions from 40 to 36. However, the time duration for this section has been increased from 38 minutes to 40 minutes.

NMAT 2020 Important Dates

GMAC has also changed the NMAT 2020 schedule. The updated exam dates for NMAT are yet to be announced by the council. Candidates can check the tentative dates for the exam in the table below.
