NUV organises seminar on advance tertiary wastewater treatment

Navrachna University- The School of Engineering and Technology ( NUV) Vadodara hosted a one-day seminar on the topic Advance Tertiary Wastewater Treatment. The main focus area of the seminar was about technology for industrial water treatment, different ways and methods to recycle and reuse different materials to manage wastewater treatment. It also focuses on how to redefine and combine the finer aspects of existing materials by using various physicochemical and biological methods.

The seminar helped people understand specific aspects of selecting wastewater treatment methodologies with most appropriate technology for the same. The seminar gave emphasis to various industrial practices and applications and different ways of reducing them. It also enlightened the public with applications and removal of pollutants in wastewater treatment especially during the tertiary treatment so that the reclaimed water can be recycled and reused.

The seminar was attended by 250 delegates from Gujarat such as B R Naidu Director of Central Pollution Control Board, Vadodara, Amith Thakker Senior Scientist at MS University among others. The seminar also focused on other aspects to realise our responsibility towards the environment.
