Odisha UG Admissions 2017: DHE Releases First Allotment List

Odisha’s Department of Higher Education or DHE has released the first selection/ allotment list for UG courses on June 29, 2017. This year, UG admission process was easier than last year. DHE Odisha has conducted the entire admission process in online mode. Students were happy with the online admission process.

Until last year, students had to enter the Class 12 marks manually which had become quite difficult. This year, the candidates entered Class 12 board exams roll number, and the marks were generated automatically. Directorate of Higher Education also intimated the selected candidates for various UG courses through e-mail and SMS. The candidates can also visit the colleges to check their names. The allotment list is available on the notice boards of various UG colleges.

The candidates can check their seat allotment status through the official website of DHE Odisha. The candidates can also check the same through a toll-free number 155335/ 1800-345-6770. The candidates can also keep a tab on their mailbox for checking the allotment letter or status.

After checking the seat allotment status on the official website of DHE Odisha, the candidates must download the intimation letter. The link for downloading the same has been activated. The seat allotment process will start from June 30, 2017, and will continue until July 3, 2017. DHE Odisha will release the second allotment list on July 7, 2017, depending on the number of vacant seats in various UG courses. It is mandatory for the candidates to take the printout of intimation letter.
