The online applications for POLYCET-2016 opened on 19-March-2016. This test is conducted for admission to 3 year diploma in Engineering. This year Vijayawada is hosting the examination. Till last year the examination was conducted as Hyderabad as the main hub.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates appearing for AP Polycet exam, must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam, the eligibility criteria is mentioned in details below.
- Candidate must be Indian Citizen.
- The candidates should belong to Andhra Pradesh or should have passed from the schools located in AP.
- The candidate must have passed/appearing S.S.C. Examination or equivalent can apply for the exam. The candidates who have passed with compartments in their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the AP Polycet exam.

- Commencement of online filing of Applications: 18th March, 2016
- Last date of filling online Application Form: 12th April, 2016
- AP Polycet Exam Date: 27th April 2016
- Result Announcement Date (Tentative): 9th May, 2016
Exam Pattern
The AP POLYCET 2016 entrance exam will be held on the 27th April 2016. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours. The question paper will consist of 120 objective type questions. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. For correct response 1 marks will be awarded. The question paper consist of questions based on the class 10th level, the question will be asked form Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
The minimum marks for declaring a candidate to have passed in the Entrance examination shall be thirty percent i.e., 36 marks out of 120.
How to apply?
A student has to fill an online application. After filling the application it has to be taken print out and DD of Rs.330 has to be taken in the favor of, Covernor, AP POLCET-2016. The online application and DD must be submitted at the Government Polytechnic College by hand or post. The hall tickets will be issued within the one week of the submission of the application.
