Over 1.5 Lakh Candidates to Take JNU Entrance Exam (JNUEE)

Jawaharlal Nehru University will soon conduct an entrance examination, i.e., JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam) for the next academic session and over 1.5 candidates have registered for the entrance test. JNUEE will be held on December 23, 2017, and December 27, 2017. Until the previous academic session, JNU conducted its entrance exam in April or May. For the first time, JNU is conducting its entrance exam for admission to various courses in advance. According to the latest reports, of the 81 certified exam centres to conduct JNUEE, 2 exam centres have been shifted.

JNU offers 1,118 seats for MPH, M.Tech, M.Sc and M.A courses followed by 459 seats in B.A courses and 720 seats in M.Phil and Ph.D courses. The administration of JNU has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance exam in 81 exam centres across different cities and towns. The admission wing of JNU will depute more than 200 non-teaching and teaching staff at all the exam centres. Flying squads will be appointed to carry out an inspection in exam centres. The varsity is in the final stage of making all the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of entrance exam.

The JNUEE results will be announced in April 2018 and the registration of students to various courses will begin in July 2018.

Candidates who have been preparing for JNU entrance exam have around two months to prepare effectively. JNU entrance exam is considered as one of the popular entrance exams, and numerous students take this exam every year to get admission in one of the prestigious universities in India.
