Bihar’s Aditya Chandrayan scored 99.7 percentile in CAT 2016 opening his gates for all the top b-schools in India including the IIMs. Aditya says that a dedicated 2 hours of study every day was his mantra of cracking CAT.
Talking about his performance in the exam, he said that he expecting close to 98 percentile as predicting the accuracy of the verbal section is difficult. He is ecstatic to see that the result of the exam have turned out to be fruitful. Aditya is amongst the top scorers in Bihar.
He said that two hours of focused study every day is enough to perform well without any coaching and extra assistance. Aditya has set an example for the youth of the state and is a motivation for all those who look forward to perform well in competitive exams.
Aditya did his schooling from Don Bosco Academy and DAV-BSEB. He went on to pursue engineering from Sir M Vishwesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. Later, he joined TESCO and started preparing for CAT 2016.

Once an aspiring medical student, 24-year-old Aditya wishes to join the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. So far, Aditya has received a call from IIM Kozhikode and hopes to get more calls from colleges of the similar league.
He has also been a part of Urban Clap – an online learning solution – where he teaches mathematics to students. Aditya also participates keenly in community services.
