PU new session likely to commence from July 1st week

The Patna University session 2016-17 is likely to start from the first week of July 2016 as per report of the University. The admission to various courses could be made on the basis of the common eligibility tests. The tests are to be conducted mainly for the 3-year degree courses in the different colleges of Patna University.

The academic calendar, the entrance process, the period for the commencement of the classes has been decided by the different principals from across the colleges of the Patna University (PU).

An academic proposal had been made in the same regard and according to it, the test pattern would be based on the CAT & MAT pattern, and the scores given to the students would use for the admission of the students to the various courses

The pupils who are seeking admissions in the arts stream of, B N College, Patna College, Magadh Mahila College & Patna Women's College would take the entrance test that is meant for the arts faculty, however, can also apply separately to the institutions where they would wish to secure the admission seat. The sale of the application fee has been started and also, the provision of entrance test for the PG courses have been proposed, however, the final decision on the same is yet to taken.
