Pune University Invites Applications for MBA (Pharma-Biotechnology)

Department of Management Studies, Savitribai Phule Pune University, has started inviting online applications for the MBA (Pharma- Biotechnology) course for the 2018-19 academic year.

The MBA programme offered by Savitribai Phule Pune University is a two-year full-time programme that aims to offer knowledge about BioPharma, Bio-Services, Healthcare, Bioinformatics and Bio Suppliers. Apart from this, the course focuses on developing the managerial power of the candidates to be well suited for jobs in the specialized sector.

The last date for submission of the online applications is 8th June whereas the deadline for the offline submission along with listed documents is 18th June 2018.

MBA (Pharma - Biotechnology) Eligibility:

• Candidates applying in the General category must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in their bachelor’s degree whereas SC/ST candidates require 45% aggregate.
• Candidates must have a bachelor’s/ master's degree in Sciences such as Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Genetics, Pharmacy, Technology Engineering from a recognized university.
• Apart from this, candidates must have qualified in the ATMA entrance examination.
• Applicants must have passed graduation on or before 30 Sept 2018.

The institute is offering 60 seats in total for the MBA (Pharma-Biotechnology) course. Out of these, 30 seats are for the open category while the remaining 30 are for the reserved category. Interested applicants can log on to the official website of the university to apply.
