Regulations for introduction of new courses revised - Patna
The secretariat of the universities in the state of Bihar has decided to implement more strict rules for the introduction of a new course in a university.

The secretariat reports say the universities have been non-responding after having to be an approach for several times in order to remind on the flaws in the proposals of the new courses. The universities right now, have been asked to send new (fresh) proposals soon.
There are several universities which start new courses, conduct exams and admit new students without the approval of the chancellor. While the universities fail to publish results, the students & the guardians move to the courts against them. A meeting between the secretariat administration and the vice chancellors of the various universities cannot be ruled out.
Some years back, the secretariat of the chancellors had directed that the universities needed to adhere to the checklist before sending each of their proposals.
According to the requirements, the universities would have to procure necessary nods of agencies such as:
A certificate is supposed to be submitted by the university, in the same effect.
