SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2022: The SBI PO Prelims Exam 2022 is being conducted today on 20th December 2022. This prestigious banking exam commenced on 17th Dec and is being conducted by the State Bank of India every day. The online CBT-based examination is being held in four separate shifts of one hour each. The first shift of the SBI PO exam 2022 was conducted from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We will be updating the shift-wise SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis 2022 for 20 Dec including the difficulty level, number of good attempts, and weightage of topics in the examination.

SBI PO Prelims 20th December 2022 Shift 1 Students' Reactions

The candidates who appeared in the examination today for the first shift have shared their reactions to the SBI PO prelims exam of 20 December. The major highlights of the exam were -

  • The overall difficulty level was easy to moderate 

  • DI in the Quantitative Aptitude section was a bit lengthy and time-taking

  • Arithmetic questions were relatively easier and direct

  • Puzzles in Reasoning were mostly based on variables, such as week and city-based, year and age-based

  • Mathematics and Reasoning sections were doable

  • English section was easier as compared to the other two sections

  • Maximum weightage in English was given to Reading Comprehension and Cloze Test

  • None of the sections was too hard to crack 

  • All the questions and topics were based on the SBI PO Prelims Syllabus 

  • The average good attempts by candidates were 73-75

SBI PO Prelims 20th December 2022 Shift 2 Students' Reactions

The second shift was concluded at 12:30 PM for the SBI PO 2022 prelims exam. Here are the first reactions from the candidates who appeared in the exam -

  • Overall, the difficulty level of the Shift 2 paper was easy to moderate

  • English and Math sections were easy in comparison to Reasoning

  • English portion was easier than the first shift

  • The maximum weightage in Reasoning was given on Puzzles based on Variables, Linear Arrangement etc. 

  • For some students, the DI part in Quantitative Aptitude was calculative. However, the Arithmetic portion was easy to attempt

  • Synonyms, Antonyms, and Fillers were asked based on Reading Compehension 

  • Many candidates stated attempting all 30 questions in English 

  • The estimated good attempts by students combining all three sections were 70-73

SBI PO Prelims 20th December 2022 Shift 3 Students' Reactions

SBI PO Prelims Exam 20 Dec 2022 Shift 3 timing was 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The applicants have shared the examination reaction and the level of difficulty mentioned below -

  • The overall difficulty level of the Shift 3 paper was moderate. As per students, the paper was a bit difficult and lengthy as compared to the previous shifts. 

  • Average attempts by students were relatively fewer in this shift. The estimated good attempts were reportedly 64-66. 

  • Questions on Error Detection were asked based on the old pattern. Questions on Para Jumbles were based on the new pattern.

  • Contrary to the previous shifts, no questions were asked from Cloze Test. 

  • The majority of the questions from Puzzles were based on Circular Seating Arrangement, Floor and Flat-based, Parallel Rows and Variables.

  • The DI section was a bit tricky and calculative

  • Most students stated attempting fewer questions in the Math section in comparison to the earlier shifts

  • The English portion was doable while the Reasoning section appeared a bit difficult to some candidates.

SBI PO Prelims 20th December 2022 Shift 4 Students' Reactions

The last shift of the SBI PO Prelims Exam 2022 ended at 5:30 PM on 20 December 2022. The last batch of students shared similar reactions related to this exam. The candidates' reactions are as shared below -

  • The difficulty level of the last shift of the exam was moderately difficult

  • DI section was a bit calculative while the Arithmetic portion was easy to attempt

  • The English section was of easy to moderate level. Students were able to attempt the maximum number of questions from this portion. 

  • Contrary to the earlier shifts, the Shift 4 Reasoning section had questions based on Chinese Coding.

  • Questions from Reasoning were doable but quite time-taking

  • Arithmetic questions were based on Partnership, Percentage, Age-based, Profit and Loss, and Boat and Stream 

  • Despite the Mathematics paper being calculative, students were seen attempting more questions than in the earlier shifts.

  • The overall good attempts in Shift 4 were 68-71
