SC directs key reforms in NEET PG 2025 Counselling:
The Supreme Court has introduced new guidelines to tackle malpractices, particularly seat blocking, in NEET PG 2025 counselling process. Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan raised the issue of seat blocking in NEET PG 2025. They noted that candidates often accept and then relinquish seats in search of better options, which creates unfairness and negatively impacts the seat allocation process, ultimately harming higher-ranked candidates. Despite existing measures, there are still challenges in enforcing these rules, indicating the need for further reforms. Justice Pardiwala emphasized the importance of utilizing technology to enhance transparency and fairness in the admissions process.
