Gurgaon-based School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL), has announced its two-day annual conference, scheduled to be held on 14th-15th October.
Titled under 'Inspired Leadership Conference 2016', the event will involve talks stressing on the importance of competency in leadership roles.
The keynote speaker of the inaugural function would be Arun Maira. He is the former Chairman of Boston Consulting Group (India) and former member of the Planning Commission of India.
Presently industry leaders have witnessed differences across ideologies, gender, identity, income groups, age etc. and as a result, it has contributed to the lack of competency within leadership roles. While keeping these factors into consideration, SOIL decided to arrange this year’s leadership conference around ‘Dialogue across Differences’.
Founder and CEO of SOIL, Anil Sachdev said that nowadays, almost all sectors and industries witness tough competition all over the world. Be it organisations or people, all of us are trying to become an integral part of the elite group, i.e. the ones who lead the way. But in reality, not all of us manage to beat the odds or thrive under pressure.
He also expressed his hope that this forum will be definitely successful in addressing all key issues regarding competence in leadership roles, and will encourage management students to seriously think about their training as the first step towards becoming future leaders.
Agenda of the Conference:
- Panel discussions
- Leaders representing various stakeholders would stimulate dialogue
- These groups will adopt the ‘Open Space Methodology’ of dialogue
- They will present the gist of their output to a larger group
