Special OTET 2022 exam is scheduled for August 29. All those candidates appearing for the same must keep these documents handy to avoid last-minute confusion on the exam day. 

Special OTET 2022 - Documents to Carry on the Exam Day

The Special OTET 2022 exam is set to be conducted on August 29 for both Paper I and Paper II in two shifts – from 8:00AM to 10:30 AM (Paper I) and 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Candidates who have applied and are to appear for the SOTET 2022 exam must report to the allotted centre on time as mentioned in the Special OTET 2022 Admit Card. Applicants must also take a look at the checklist of important documents to carry on the exam day to stay prepared for the verification process at the gate.   

Special OTET 2022 - Documents to Carry on the Exam Day

It is mandatory for all candidates to carry the following documents for verification on the day of the Special OTET (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test) 2022 exam:

  • A copy of the SOTET 2022 Admit Card

  • Original ID proof issued by the Government – PAN card/Aadhaar Card/Voter’s ID/Passport/Driving license 

  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

  • Scribe affidavit

  • 3-4 passport-sized photographs 

Applicants must note know that a digital copy of the Special OTET 2022 Admit Card will not be considered valid. Candidates will have to affix a passport-sized photograph, the same as the one uploaded in the application form. The signature of the candidate must be visible on the admit card. 

Students belonging to the PwD category will have to carry a certificate and a scribe affidavit if necessary. Candidates who have had their names changed to marriage, divorce, or any other reason will need to furnish relevant documents to substantiate the claim. 

Things NOT to Carry on the Special OTET 2022 Exam Day 

The following list features items that are prohibited in the exam hall. Candidates in possession of the barred items will have their candidature cancelled by the recruiting authority.

  • Bluetooth, mobile phones, electronic devices and gadgets

  • Text materials/note pads

  • Sharp, metallic objects

  • Ornaments/watches/goggles/wallet

  • Calculators

  • Stationery items 

Candidates must also ensure to follow all Covid-19 safety guidelines announced by the authority. It is mandatory to wear masks, carry small sanitizer bottles for personal use, and maintain social distancing on the premises.
