The SSC CHSL 2018 Examination Paper/Tier-I Results have been released on 12th September 2019. The qualified candidates will be called for the second round (SSC CHSL Paper/Tier-II) of the examinations to fill 5,789 vacancies.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), on Thursday, 12th September, has released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Paper 1 in their official website ssc.nic.in. the SSC CHSL examination 2018 examination was attempted by 13.17 lakh candidates. The exam of SSC CHSL Paper/Tier-1 was held in July 2019.

About SSC CHSL Paper 1
The paper of SSC CHSL 2018 paper 1 had 100 questions which carried 200 marks in total. The candidates appearing for the SSC CHSL examinations were asked to complete the paper within 1 hour of limited time. The paper had basic English Skill Test based questions and Aptitude Test (based on Basic Arithmetic) on which, the candidates are judged for SSC CHSL 2019 recruitments.
The paper had a penalty (negative marking) for every wrong answer.
Those who have qualified SSC CHSL Tier 1 Paper will have to appear for Tier 2 or Paper-II examinations of SSC CHSL. The 100 marks examinations will have descriptive type questions which were absent in the previous paper. The candidates qualifying SSC CHSL 2018 examination will have to write an essay of 200-250 words and an application of 100-150 words in SSC CHSL Paper/Tier-II examinations. The candidates will be judged on their creative writing skills on the Paper-II.
