• If the students want to do any type of correction in the West Bengal SET admit card 2024 then it will only be done after the verification of the attendant sheet and the valid identity proof of the candidate.

• There is a set of documents that the students will have to carry inside the examination center. The students will have to carry a valid government photo ID proof, two passport-size photographs, and the printout of the WB SET admit card. 
• The candidates will have to reach half an hour before the actual examination will be conducted by the authorities.
• The candidates will only be allowed to carry permitted items inside the examination hall and the candidates are not allowed to carry any digital appliance.
• The applicant must be dressed according to the dress code specified by the authority of the West Bengal College Service Commission. 
• The candidates are not allowed to carry a calculator or a mobile phone inside the examination center. The applicants are not allowed to wear a smartwatch.

West Bengal SET Selection Process 2024

The selection process for WB SET 2024 is given below.

• From each subject, only 6% of top candidates clearing WB SET shall be declared ‘Pass’ in the examination.
• The candidate will have to be among the top 6% qualifiers in each subject so that he will be considered for the WB SET certificate.
• The selection of candidates for the 6% slot will be on the basis of reservation rules and policies.

WB SET Eligibility Criteria 2024

The educational qualification required to be eligible for WB SET 2024 is given in detail below: -

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have a master's degree that is recognized by the U.G.C.
• The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (no rounding off) in their master’s degree OR an equivalent degree from universities/institutions that are recognized by UGC and the state government will be eligible for this test.
• Ph.D. degree holders who completed their Master’s examination by 19th September 1991, irrespective of the date on which the result was declared, shall be considered eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks.
• The candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given a relaxation of 5%.
• The candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing for the qualifying Master’s Degree examination and whose results are awaited OR the candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may appear for this test additionally.
