Here is a good news for the students of J&K. The candidates who appear for the examinations conducted by the J&K Board will receive their examination results via SMS soon. Naeem Akthar, Education Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, directed the Board of School Education or BOSE to initiate the SMS service for examination results so that each and every student could receive their exam result on the mobile phone.
One of the officials associated with BOSE revealed that the education minister has asked the department to upgrade infrastructure to emerge as one of the best institutes in India with regard to the quality of services offered. He further directed BOSE to set a timeline for the complaints received from students so that they can know in advance the status of their case and whether it has been resolved or not.
He further directed the officials to complete the re-evaluation of answer scripts within 40 days, and a similar timeline must be set for migration and other related services. The officials of the BOSE need to make use of technology so that it becomes easy for the students to get their work done through the official website of BOSE.
He indicated that BOSE will additionally need to take massive publicity campaigns to bring awareness to the parents regarding scholarship schemes and National Talent Search Exam.
Akhtar also directed the officials to distribute the textbooks without delay and also update the syllabus or curriculum of the various classes in tune with the job needs.
