The Institute of Charted Accountants of India has declared the results of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) 2016 and CA Final Examination on January 17, 2017. CPT 2016 examination took place in the month of December 2016, and CA Final Examination was held in November 2016. The results have been declared at 2:00 PM.

Apart from the results, ICAI also published merit list of the candidates who scored a minimum of 55% of marks or above in the final examination. Both merit list and results have been published on the official site of ICAI. The candidates who registered their e-mail ID on the official site of ICAI will get their result via e-mail.

If the candidates want to check the result on the official site, they need to enter registration number and roll number.
The candidates who appeared for CPT 2016 or CA Final Examination examination and want to get the result via SMS can follow the below-mentioned procedure: -
- For getting CA Final Exam result via SMS, the candidates need to type CAFNL (space) six digit roll number and the send the SMS to 58888.
- For getting CPT 2016 result via SMS, the candidates need to type CACPT (space) six digit roll number and send the SMS to 58888.
- The candidates will receive an SMS that contains result on their mobile phone.
