Final year UG students of Vasavi Degree College secured excellent marks in the degree results which were released by Acharya Nagarjuna University on 28-April-2016. The college management conducted a press meet on 29-April-2016 to congratulate the students on this occasion.

College principal, N. Srinivasa Rao said, “A total pass percentage of 84 have been recorded in the degree results. The college has been exceptionally performing well in academics. The college has all the facilities, separate physics and chemistry labs and also a language lab. Students participated in various district level and state level literary competitions and brought laurels to the college. The college encourages extracurricular activities to bring out the hidden talents of students”. He congratulated the toppers and greeted them for their bright career.

College principal gave the list of toppers:-

  • SK Kareem of B.Sc. secured 2416/2600 marks and stood as topper of the college as well as town.
  • G.Aparna of B.Com. secured 1690/1800 marks and stood as college/town topper.
  • Y.Nandini of B.Com. secured 1674/1800 marks and stood at second place.

College director, faculty and correspondent congratulated the students. Students thanked the college management and faculty for being supportive. They said that, “their main aim is to secure seat in Central University of Hyderabad”.
